1.

Where are classes held?

Classes are held at various locations based upon the class. Animal Reiki is held at a kennel and at a facility for horses. Check the Upcoming Events page for the time, date and location of your class or workshop, or email the above address.

2.

Postponement Policy

In case of bad weather, or if the animal refuses the energy, the session may be rescheduled  for another day and time.

3.

How do I dress for classes?

Dress for comfort. If you are taking the Animal Reiki class, be sure to come prepared for the weather, as part of the class will be outside at a horse farm. Also, being around horses requires some type of sturdy footware (just as a precaution). In addition, you will be working with dogs at a kennel.

4.

Is Reiki a religion?

No, Reiki is not a religion. Reiki is a system of natural healing which utilizes the universal life force energy, the energy which is responsible for ALL of life.

5.

Can you make a person or an animal "heal"?

Ultimately, all healing is self-healing. Animals, as well as people, determine when and how they want to heal. It is not possible to MAKE an individual heal on your time schedule. We all have free choice, even the animals. It is our job, as humans, to give an animal every opportunity to heal.

6. Do I bring my well-behaved pet to Animal Reiki class?

It may, or may not, be appropriate to bring your animal to a class or a workshop, depending upon the nature of the class (or workshop). Please check with the instructor by phone or email.

7.

When an event is more than two hours long do we get a break? For day long classes, should we bring our lunch?

There will be break time in all of the workshops and classes. Please bring a bag lunch and something to drink for the noon break, if it is a day long class, as food is not provided. You are welcome to bring a snack and drink to any class or workshop.
